Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is seeking a senior Coding Manager to oversee a multi-specialty coding team. You will supervise coding staff, ensure accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, and collaborate with providers and billers to support compliant documentation and billing.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Health Information Management (or equivalent), five years coding experience (two in management), and three years with Epic or Athena. CCS/CPC certification is required.

• Five years of professional coding experience required, with governance over ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Two years of management experience required to supervise coding staff.
• Three years of Epic and/or Athena experience required.
• CCS or CPC certification is required.

• Provide leadership and supervision to a multi-specialty coding team to ensure accurate coding.
• Collaborate with providers, coders, and billers to support compliant documentation and billing.
• Design and deliver training for providers and coding staff on documentation improvement and regulatory changes.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics; implement performance improvement plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and payer coding regulations and update workflows.
• Lead process improvements to optimize reimbursement and compliance across Revenue Cycle units.
• Track coder productivity and report key performance indicators to leadership.
