Job summary

The Standard in Southern California is seeking a Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team to support Employer Groups of 100 to 499 lives, guiding them through LOA, FMLA, STD, LTD, Life and voluntary products with a focus on education and long-term relationships.

You will be the main contact for client management, handle new cases, renewals and plan improvements, and participate in client and broker meetings while promoting new product features and ensuring smooth enrollment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive work experience in employee benefits, client management, or sales support in the employee benefits insurance industry.
• Professional license in Life and Disability insurance for the resident state within assigned hub, obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Travel is required: percentage based on role, territory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for Client Management issues for your assigned book of business
• Manage new case submissions, renewal activity, and amendments
• Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements
• Participate in in-person client and broker meetings
• Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features
• Recommend plan changes as appropriate
• Facilitate enrollment and re-enrollment processes and complete enrollment meetings
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders and vendors to achieve outcomes
