Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a senior leader to drive USC Claims operations across a multi-state organization of 300+ professionals. You will blend hands-on leadership with strategic accountability for financial outcomes, talent development, and risk management, guiding Major Accounts and Helmsman Management Services teams in auto and general liability.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of insurance and claims handling.
• Strong analytical skills and data driven decision making.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading in a changing environment.
• Open to risk taking and challenging the status quo.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required, 10+ years of experience related to leading large and complex operations.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, motivates and inspires delivery of business results/claims outcomes through others.
• Sets region priorities and provides direction to focus teams on areas of greatest opportunity.
• Creates a vision and talent strategy to develop staff and create talent pools to ensure availability of future talent.
• Manages resources to ensure best in class service and outcomes.
• Fosters a learning culture that facilitates continuous improvement in a data driven environment.
• Communicates within Claims and Stakeholders any trends or legal changes impacting outcomes or business results.
• Interfaces with key Customers, Agents and Brokers at point of sale, throughout the lifecycle and as a thought leader on technical matters, to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintains strong working relationships within and outside GRS Claims to ensure delivery on claims` customer value proposition.
