Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across sites in North America. You will train managers and staff in CI tools including Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kanban, delivering measurable improvements in production savings and process efficiency.

The role is remote with extensive travel to southern locations; near Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA is preferred for on-site activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, manufacturing, or CI
• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, TOC, and BP Improvement
• Lead value stream mapping workshops and drive data-driven actions

Responsibilities

• Coach CI events and remove barriers to performance
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and metrics
• Apply PDCA, DMAIC, and other CI methods to eliminate waste
• Mentor leaders to embed CI principles into daily operations
• Develop and track CI metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Coordinate TPM, standard work design, SMED projects, RCA, and VSM initiatives across sites
