Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive and enable operational excellence across sites in North America.

You will implement CI tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, PDCA) to deliver measurable production savings and process improvements while mentoring leaders and embedding CI practices into daily operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Associate degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, or CI
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio) and CI project management tools
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple CI methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Theory of Constraints, Business Process Improvement)
• Demonstrated ability to lead a value stream mapping workshop and facilitate improvement actions based on data

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CI events and coordinate activities across teams and management
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing and improving business processes and performance metrics
• Diagnose workflow impediments and apply CI methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce variation
• Coach site leaders and CI practitioners in CI principles and leadership behaviours
• Define and facilitate improvement activities using PDCA and other CI frameworks
• Coach sites to drive improvements and improve standard work
• Establish, track, and report CI metrics for stakeholders
• Determine resource requirements and training needs for CI initiatives
• Facilitate TPM workshops, SMED projects, RCA, and value stream transformations
• Mentor teams to navigate ambiguity and sustain improvements
• Organize and manage multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines
• Partner with the Director of Operations to develop the Regional Continuous Improvement Roadmap
• Promote CI knowledge through regular training and cross-site dissemination
