Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across sites in North America. You will implement CI methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Six Sigma, TPM) to deliver measurable savings and improve processes.

The role involves coaching managers and staff, leading high-impact projects, and embedding CI practices into daily operations. You will partner with the Director of Operations to develop the Regional CI Roadmap and promote CI knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, or CI.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio) and CI project management.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Theory of Constraints, and related methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects with measurable results.
• Ability to travel domestically 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CI events and coordinate activities across teams, support groups, and management, removing barriers to performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing and improving business processes, architecture, requirements, change management, and performance metrics.
• Diagnose workflow impediments and apply CI methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce variation.
• Coach site leaders and CI practitioners in applying CI principles and leadership behaviors.
• Define and facilitate improvement activities using PDCA and other CI frameworks.
• Coach sites to drive improvements and strengthen standard work for customer value.
• Establish and report CI metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify training needs and support CI capability development across the organization.
• Organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high quality.
