Midas Hospitality is seeking an Area Chief Engineer to provide engineering leadership across a portfolio of hotels, including a designated home property. You will drive preventative maintenance, capital projects, and safety compliance while developing regional engineering teams and ensuring asset protection.

You will collaborate with Corporate Engineering leadership, GMs, and property teams to optimize operations, capital plans, and energy efficiency.

Competenze

Experience managing engineering operations for multiple hotels preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, fire & life safety systems, building automation systems.
Experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ADA, and local building code requirements.
Experience managing capital projects and engineering budgets.
Experience with CMMS/work order management software and preventative maintenance systems.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel regularly between assigned hotel properties.

Mansioni

Provide regional engineering leadership across multiple hotel properties.
Oversee safe, reliable, and efficient building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, elevators, life safety).
Partner with GMs and regional leaders to set engineering priorities and goals.
Support engineering during acquisitions, renovations, transitions, and new openings.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs; monitor compliance and metrics.
Manage capital projects, budgets, and timelines; coordinate contractors.
Lead and develop chief engineers and regional engineering staff; recruit and train as needed.
Maintain OSHA, EPA, ADA compliance and fire/life safety inspections.
Provide on-site support for complex repairs and during staffing gaps.
