Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department of a Fraser, CO hotel. This hands-on leadership role focuses on preventative maintenance programs, building systems, and safeguarding hotel assets.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, develop maintenance plans, and manage budgets while ensuring guest comfort and safety, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational excellence.

Formación

• Must have experience in hotel engineering or related field.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, departmental budgets, and capital improvement projects.
• Ability to diagnose complex maintenance issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Technical certifications or licenses in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related trades preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, train, coach, and develop Engineering staff while promoting safety, accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering department, including work assignments and maintenance schedules.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance plans to protect hotel assets.
• Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and life-safety equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring brand and company standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to maximize guest satisfaction and room availability.
• Ensure life-safety systems are maintained and compliant with codes and standards.
• Manage budgets, supplier relationships, and capital expenditures.
