HHM Hotels is seeking an Area Chief Engineer to lead maintenance operations across multiple properties, supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and sustainability standards are met.

The role involves conducting room inspections, performing basic repairs, and maintaining life-safety systems while ensuring codes and brand standards are followed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lead maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Experience with hotel maintenance and life-safety systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for coaching and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors for bids and contracts.
• Oversee in-house maintenance projects and PIPS.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance tasks.
• Maintain life-safety systems and keep PM records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction and curb appeal.
