Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking an Area Chief Engineer to provide leadership across a portfolio of hotels, with direct responsibility for a home property. You will work with corporate and regional leaders to maintain safe and efficient building systems and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and travel between properties. A strong background in hotel operations engineering and capital projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering operations for multiple hotels or properties.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, fire & life safety systems, and building automation.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ADA, and local building code requirements.
• Experience managing capital projects and engineering budgets.

Responsibilities

• Regional Engineering Leadership across multiple hotels and your home property.
• Oversee safe, reliable, efficient building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, elevators, life safety.
• Establish engineering priorities and operational goals with GMs and regional leaders.
• Provide engineering support during acquisitions, renovations, transitions, and new openings.
• Develop, implement, and improve preventative maintenance programs regionally.
• Monitor work orders, PM compliance, and performance metrics.
• Lead capital projects, contractor coordination, budgets, and building upgrades.
• Coach and develop engineers and associates; ensure safety and compliance.
