Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department and safeguard hotel assets. You will drive preventative maintenance, oversee building systems, and mentor engineering staff to deliver safe, efficient operations.

This leadership role requires proactive problem-solving, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to guest satisfaction and asset protection across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance or engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop Engineering associates while promoting safety and teamwork.
• Manage daily Engineering operations, assignments, PM schedules, and priorities.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance plans to protect hotel assets.
• Oversee PM programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Inspect and repair hotel equipment, ensuring brand and company standards.
