Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice or video solutions in the telecommunications industry.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Five or more years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice and/or video solutions in the telecommunications industry.
• Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber-connected networks required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience calling on Agent Channel Partners
• Proven business-to-business sales experience with “C level” decision makers

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive needs analysis with prospective customers to develop client-focused product solutions
• Design and present sales proposals that highlight Spectrum Business’ voice, data and video benefits to small, medium and large businesses
• Achieve monthly revenue targets through strategic sales activities and persistent lead generation
• Contact and qualify new leads using telephone outreach, cold calls, networking and industry events
• Request and coordinate site surveys and submit ROI analyses to sales management
• Maintain accurate sales databases to track activity and customer information
• Collaborate with Account Management and business services teams to ensure seamless account handoff and ongoing client retention
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on Spectrum Business’ offerings and best practices
