Job summary

Luminys is seeking a field-based sales professional to expand our CCTV and access control solutions across CO, NV, UT and Northern California. You will call on system integrators, end users, and consultants, delivering live product demonstrations and leading regional distribution programs from a home office.

You will develop regional business plans, forecast opportunities in CRM, present at trainings, and drive profitable growth while coordinating cross-territory activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or 3+ years of industry experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience with CCTV, security products, or access control products.
• Technical competence with Access Control and CCTV products and solutions.
• Working knowledge of office software applications and sales automation tools.
• Basic understanding of financial statements.
• Strong technical presentation skills.
• Organization, planning, follow-up, and time management in a home-office sales region.
• Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel per business needs up to 50-60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a network of system integrators, end users, consultants, and distribution partners to achieve company goals.
• Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
• Develop and implement a regional-specific business plan for each fiscal year to ensure profitable growth.
• Provide timely project forecasting through CRM.
• Lead or present our products at sales and technical trainings.
• Develop and maintain contacts with major customers within the region and participate in major selling situations.
• Monitor distributor performance against national standards and recommend changes.
• Coordinate cross-territory business activities.
• Communicate and implement best practices across the region.
• Assist in trade shows and specialized training seminars.
