Job summary

Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in San Francisco to lead the cardiovascular sales team, translate strategic plans into localized execution, and drive data-driven growth across the territory.

The role requires 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales with 3+ years of first-line leadership, cardiovascular experience, and a track record of building high-performing teams. Travel up to 60% is expected; base salary ranges with bonus eligibility are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience.
• 3+ years first-line sales leadership experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical field.
• Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Experience with market access/reimbursement preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Proven track record of leading successful sales teams in competitive environments.
• Strong business acumen and ability to leverage territory data for planning.
• Proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Translate Strategy to Execution by formulating localized region plans.
• Data-Driven Decision Making using market data and KPIs.
• Lead a team of CSR's to educate physicians and accounts.
• Direct CSRs in acquisition, expansion and retention.
• Engage and cultivate key accounts to grow business objectives.
• Field Coaching & Mentorship with real-time feedback.
• Attract, coach, develop and retain high performers.
• Oversee and optimize the geographic territory.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, marketing, training, compliance and medical affairs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and professional standards.
