Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions in Chicago seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead a newly forming Cardiovascular sales team and exceed market goals. You will translate strategy into regional plans, coach CSRs, and collaborate with FRMs, marketing and medical affairs to drive launches and account growth.

Will travel up to 60% and operate in a fast-paced, compliant environment. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in pharma sales are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
8+ years pharma/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
3+ years first-line sales leadership experience.
Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic experience preferred.
Product launches in specialty disease area experience.
Market access/reimbursement experience preferred.
Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate clearly.
Proven leadership in competitive, compliant environments.
CRM, AI tools and MS Office proficiency.
Valid driver's license and travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

Translate strategy to localized region-level business plans that capitalize on market opportunities.
Analyze market data, sales trends and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and guide tactics.
Lead Cardiovascular Sales Representatives to educate targeted physicians and accounts.
Direct CSRs in acquisition, expansion and retention in the territory.
Engage key accounts with strategies supporting business growth.
Provide field coaching and mentorship to elevate sales capabilities.
Attract, coach and retain high-performing sales talent.
Oversee territory management, resource allocation and budget execution.
Collaborate with FRMs, marketing, training, compliance and medical affairs.
Ensure compliance with all policies and professional standards.
