Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a high- performing Cardiovascular Sales team. You will translate strategy into region-level business plans, coach field reps, and drive data-driven decisions to exceed sales goals in the assigned market.

You will recruit and coach CSR's, manage territory performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, successful launches. A strong background in pharma sales and cardiovascular experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience.
• 3+ years first line sales leadership experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical field.
• Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic experience is highly preferred.
• Previous team and new product launch experience in a specialty disease area.
• Previous experience with market access/reimbursement highly preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate.
• Demonstrated track record of leading successful sales teams in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate Strategy to Execution: formulate region-level business plans.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: analyze market data, KPIs, and trends.
• Lead a team of Cardiovascular Sales Representatives to educate physicians and accounts.
• Direct CSRs in acquisition, expansion and retention of targeted business.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow key accounts and customers.
• Field Coaching & Mentorship: provide in-field coaching and feedback.
• Attract, coach, and retain high-performing sales talent.
• Territory Management: optimize territory, budget, and performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with FRMs, TLLs, marketing, training, compliance, and medical affairs.
