Job summary

Longboard is seeking a Hunter-type Business Development Manager to grow our presence in Southern California and Arizona. The role emphasizes building deep relationships with architects, designers and developers and driving long-term sales growth.

Based in the LA metro area, you will lead strategic partnerships, deliver compelling presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless handoff for customers, while traveling within the territory as required.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of experience in sales related to building products.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain deep client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of engaging architectural audiences.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently within a team-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand brand presence in the LA market to drive long-term sales growth.
• Identify unique value propositions and position Longboard’s products effectively.
• Segment customer base using data and insights to tailor strategies.
• Manage pipelines, forecasting, budgeting and sales tracking to ensure targets are met.
• Build and nurture relationships with architects, designers, contractors and developers.
