Carrier Global Corporation’s Automated Logic Corporation seeks a Regional Specifying Sales Engineer to expand influence with consulting engineers, owners, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers early in the project lifecycle. You will position BAS as the basis of design and translate requirements into practical, energy‑efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in building automation systems, HVAC controls, mechanical systems, or building technologies.
• 3+ years of experience supporting building automation design, engineering, specifications, technical sales, or consulting engineering engagement.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally up to 75% in the New York, New Jersey market

Responsibilities

• Influence Early-Stage Design: Engage consulting engineers, owners, developers, and contractors early in the project lifecycle to shape specifications and position Automated Logic as the basis of design.
• Support Major Project Pursuits: Partner with sales leadership to develop winning strategies for large, complex building automation opportunities.
• Provide Consultative Technical Guidance: Translate requirements into BAS solutions that meet performance, energy, lifecycle, analytics, and maintainability goals.
• Deliver High-Impact Presentations: Conduct technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Position Integrated ALC + Carrier Solutions: Connect building automation with HVAC equipment, analytics, and lifecycle strategies to create measurable value.
• Build Strategic Relationships: Develop relationships with consulting engineers, owners, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support Technical Proposals and RFP Responses: Assist with technical content, narratives, system architecture, and value messaging.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Service, and Product teams to ensure feasible, competitive solutions.
• Monitor Market and Competitive Trends: Stay current on BAS technology, HVAC systems, analytics, and integration trends.
• Provide Customer and Market Feedback: Share insights to improve offerings and pursuit strategy.
