Job summary

Amwins Small to Mid-Market Benefits is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth in North Carolina. The role focuses on developing and expanding broker relationships with a consultative approach, offering base salary plus commissions, and a book-of-business bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven broker-facing sales experience with a strong group medical background.
• Track record of over-achieving goals.
• Solutions-oriented mind-set.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Life & Health insurance license or obtainable within 90 days.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and achievement driven with excellent time management.
• Understanding ACA and local insurance markets.
• Ability to travel for internal conferences and training.

Responsibilities

• Build productive, long-lasting relationships by educating and advising brokers.
• Develop insurance solutions to meet client needs.
• Utilize in-person visits, presentations, phone and online communications.
• Leverage Salesforce and other tools to drive sales activities.
• Create territory plans with opportunities, strategies, and targets.
• Identify new opportunities and collaborate with sales leaders.
• Understand benefit administration systems and underwriting tools.
• Track market trends and competitor data to craft counter strategies.
• Represent Amwins in meetings, events, and training to maintain competitive advantage.
• Consult with brokers and carriers to provide underwriting information.
