Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a Regional President, Commercial Banking to lead and grow the commercial banking business within an assigned market.

You will drive strategy, revenue growth, client acquisition, and risk management while collaborating with executive leadership and product teams. You will oversee regional operations, build a high-performing team, and ensure regulatory compliance across the region.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial banking or financial services
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
• Proven track record in market growth and client acquisition
• Strong financial acumen and P&L management
• Executive communication and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional commercial banking strategies
• Drive revenue growth across loans, deposits, and non-interest income
• Lead business development to acquire new clients and deepen relationships
• Manage regional P&L performance including forecasting
• Build and develop a high-performing team
• Partner with Credit and Risk to ensure sound portfolio management
• Collaborate with Treasury, Retail, Private Banking to deliver client solutions
• Represent the bank in the local market and strengthen relationships
• Monitor market trends and inform strategy
• Interviewing and hiring decisions; employee performance evaluations
