Flowers Foods, Inc. in Sapulpa, OK seeks an Area Sales Director to support DSD sales and Independent Distributors. You will build relationships, manage accounts, grow the customer base, identify new opportunities, and track sales data to drive growth.

You will work with the Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze opportunities and adjust strategies using consumer insights for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors). You will support IDs’ efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to help ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
• Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• Analyze market and territory opportunities with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to maximize sales using consumer insights to adjust strategies.
