Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States seeks an Area Sales Director to lead direct store delivery sales and manage Independent Distributors. You will cultivate strong relationships with key accounts and drive promotions and displays in-market, using digital tools to showcase wins and growth opportunities.

Collaborate with the Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze opportunities and refine sales strategies based on consumer insights, with a strong focus on leadership and drive.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• An Area Sales Director is responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• You will build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts, that will help ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
• Utilizing digital tools, you will be able to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• The Area Sales Director will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales, while using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
