Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks an Area Sales Director to support DSD sales and Independent Distributors, building strong relationships with key accounts and ensuring promotion and display execution.

You will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market opportunities, grow the customer base, and apply consumer insights to sales strategies. A 5-year background in sales or general management is expected. Must have a DOT Medical Card, valid license, and be at least 21.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts for promotion and display execution.
• Analyze market and territory opportunities with the Market VP and Sales Enablement team to maximize sales.
