Job summary

CEMEX US is seeking an Area Admixtures Sales Representative in Tucson to interface with customers and manage sales opportunities for CEMEX products. This role reports to the Sales Manager and focuses on expanding the customer base while handling inquiries and pricing coordination.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years in building materials, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Long hours and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in building materials industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and potential customers for sales of CEMEX products.
• Grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities beyond current accounts.
• Identify upselling opportunities and build rapport with all levels of customer organizations.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
• Communicate price information and assist with pricing strategy with the Admixtures Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with accounting and logistics to resolve customer issues.
• Maintain honesty and proactive communication; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Area Admixtures Sales main job responsibility is to interface with customers and potential customers while handling issues relating to the sales and potential sales of CEMEX products.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to learn the various customer segments as well as a detailed understanding of the overall construction sector as it relates to various economic metrics.
• Ability to grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities beyond current accounts as ameans for capturing new business. Identify upselling opportunities.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management. Build and maintain business relationships.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
• Communicate price information to customers and develop overall market price strategy in collaboration with Admixtures Sales Manager.
• Work with accounting & logistics as needed to solve customers’ issues.
• Be honest and proactive in all your communications.
• Perform all other necessary duties as assigned.

Qualifications

5-10 years’ experience in building materials industry is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Self Directed, Strong time and organizational management skills.
• Strong basic computer skills, which include Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of customer operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions

• Long periods of standing and/or walking required.
• Some exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
• Long periods of driving.

Physical Requirements

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
