Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Area Admixtures Sales professional in the United States (Arizona) to interface with customers and drive sales of CEMEX admixtures. You will manage relationships, provide technical support, and execute pricing strategies with the Sales Manager.

The role requires 5–10 years in building materials, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to learn the construction sector’s dynamics and customer operations. This is an on-site position with some travel.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in building materials industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of customer operations and pricing strategies

Responsibilities

• Learn the different customer segments and the construction sector and related economic metrics.
• Grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities beyond current accounts; identify upselling opportunities.
• Build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management; maintain business relationships.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
• Communicate price information to customers and assist in developing market price strategy with Admixtures Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with accounting and logistics to resolve customer issues.
• Be honest and proactive in all communications.
• Perform all other necessary duties as assigned.
