Job summary

Eaton’s Regional Controllership seeks a Senior Accounting and Controls Analyst in Woburn, MA. You will support financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for the Boyd acquisition and new sites, partnering with site finance leaders and global support to drive actions from data analysis.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least two years of accounting experience, plus strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• A minimum of two (2) years accounting/finance experience.
• No immigration sponsorship; candidate must reside within immediate area of Woburn or Billerica, MA (50 miles).

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Support preparation of financial statements per GAAP, SOX adherence, local statutory/tax compliance.
• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor control procedures to minimize errors and fraud.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and reporting requirements.
• Finance Operations: Support Site Finance Leader actions including all closing and accounting activities.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and issues.
• Partnership: Communicate financial information between operations and global support centers.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in MESH trainings and comply with site policies.
