Eaton’s Regional Controllership division seeks a Senior Accounting and Controls Analyst with strong experience in financial reporting and internal controls. The role focuses on ensuring GAAP compliance, SOX adherence, and safeguarding company assets across newly acquired sites.

The position emphasizes improving reporting methods, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with global support centers, while supporting site closing activities and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• A minimum of two (2) years accounting/finance experience.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of an Eaton site (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Support preparation of financial statements, GAAP, SOX adherence, local statutory/tax compliance, and other standards.
• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor control procedures to minimize errors, fraud, and misstatements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations and reporting requirements.
• Finance Operations: Support Site Finance Leader actions including all closing and accounting activities.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and issues for management decisions.
• Partnership: Communicate financial information between operations and global support centers; drive actions from data analysis.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in MESH trainings and comply with site policies.
