Cogent Communications in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an in-office Regional Sales Representative to drive new business in a fast-paced market. You will prospect via calls and emails, building relationships with property managers and tenants to sell high-speed Internet and private network services.

You should have 0–2+ years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years of solid sales experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via high-volume direct calling and emailing efforts.
• Strategize with Sales Management on how to sell into the region’s largest commercial buildings and campuses.
• Complement prospecting with fieldwork such as building walks, lobby events, and relationships with property management.
• Educate customers on Cogent’s connectivity solutions using consultative selling techniques.
• Update efforts in our CRM system and achieve targeted monthly revenue goals.
