Job summary

Cogent Communications in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an in-office Regional Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue in a fast-paced environment. You will engage through high-volume calling and emailing, then meet clients at properties and campuses to present Cogent connectivity solutions.

You will develop relationships, collaborate with Sales Management, and relentlessly pursue monthly revenue goals while using CRM to track progress.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of sales experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a Regional Sales Territory through high-volume calling and emailing.
• Strategize with Sales Management to sell into large commercial and retail buildings and campuses.
• Conduct fieldwork such as building walks, lobby events, and meetings with property management.
• Educate customers on Cogent connectivity solutions using consultative selling techniques.
• Update efforts in the CRM system.
• Achieve targeted monthly revenue goals.
