Job summary

HIAB USA is hiring a field service technician at our facility in Missouri. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment on Hiab equipment, following Manager’s instructions and Hiab standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of technical experience, with hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic skills. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical discipline experience or relevant product knowledge.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and perform tests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair with Hiab quality.
• Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards.
• Make judgements about the most cost effective and efficient approach to providing service.
• Manage and protect the security and traceability of spare parts.
• Recognize sales opportunities and communicate those to Manager.
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Conduct self at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow rules of the Quality System.
