Job summary

HIAB USA in Fenton, Missouri seeks a skilled service technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish equipment at our Hiab location, following Manager’s instructions.

You will maintain records, ensure safety, and identify cost-effective service solutions while upholding the HIAB quality system. Salary range $45,000 to $60,000 plus benefits; high school diploma required and relevant technical experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical discipline or sufficient product knowledge.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good hands-on skills for mechanical, hydraulic and electronic operations.
• Ability to operate equipment for tests and repairs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google email and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and conduct service/repair with Hiab quality.
• Maintain records and documentation to agreed standards.
• Choose cost-effective, efficient approaches to service delivery.
• Manage and protect spare parts security and traceability.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate to Manager.
• Coach junior colleagues and trainees as needed.
