Job summary

HIAB USA is seeking an on-site service technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, upgrades and refurbishments on equipment at Hiab locations. You will contribute to productive customer relationships and follow Best Practice in administrative and technical activities.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, a 1-year DOT medical card, and 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations with strong diagnostic skills. Own tools required.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card within 1 year of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License required with limited violations.
• 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own tools required; adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot equipment (Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders & Hoists) per manager’s instructions.
• Follow safety rules, working practices and environmental requirements.
• Stay up to date with technical developments via bulletins and courses.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction and follow guidelines.
• Keep records, maintain documentation and submit daily reports.
• Recognize sales opportunities and inform District Service Manager.
• Coach juniors and trainees as necessary.
• Promote Hiab brand and follow Quality System rules.
