Job summary

HIAB is seeking a Service Technician at our facility in Missouri to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on Hiab load-handling equipment. You will follow manager instructions and ensure high-quality service while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a technical field, and solid diagnostic skills. Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and related tools is expected to support efficient maintenance and service tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical discipline.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good hands-on skills for mechanical, hydraulic and electronic operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair with Hiab quality.
• Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards.
• Make cost-effective and efficient service decisions.
• Manage and protect the security and traceability of spare parts.
• Recognize sales opportunities and communicate to Manager.
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Conduct self in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow Quality System rules.
