Job summary

Catholic Charities of Louisville is seeking a Social Services Caseworker to join the Migration and Refugee Services team. You will manage the MRS caseload for refugee and immigrant clients, assess needs, create service plans, and coordinate essential services with partners.

This role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely reporting, and collaboration with fellow caseworkers to support clients through the service period, while upholding the agency's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• At least three years of work experience, preferably with refugees.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in case openings and intake orientation for new clients.
• Complete initial assessments, enroll clients in services, and close cases.
• Create individualized service plans based on client needs.
• Prepare Initial Family Self-Sufficiency Plans and follow-ups per guidelines.
• Maintain complete case management documentation and files.
• Attend Case Management and All-Staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
