Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is seeking a Refugee & Migrant Long-Term Case Manager to provide holistic case management for eligible clients identified as vulnerable. You will develop Self-Sufficiency Plans at intake and update them through ongoing assessments to promote long-term self-sufficiency in alignment with agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• Effective English communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural/multilingual environment.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, databases).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for a caseload of refugees and immigrants in the Long-Term Case Management (LTS) program.
• Develop Self-Sufficiency Plans (SSP) and conduct assessments.
• Document services in electronic case files and track progress.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support holistic client needs.
• Respond to crises with appropriate resources and maintain ethical boundaries.
• Complete VIRTUS training, background screening, and ongoing required training.
