Job summary

Global Refuge is seeking a Senior Program Officer for Quality Assurance to streamline safeguarding, grievances, and feedback across the RIS division. You will lead monitoring, PIPs, and program improvement with a detail-oriented, organized approach while supervising staff.

Based in the United States, the role supports RES and Integration Services and requires travel up to 15% to collaborate with partners and funders. The organization offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Experience in resettlement operations or national resettlement offices is preferred.
• Ability to develop monitoring tools, protocols, and QA training for partners and staff.
• Strong data analysis to identify trends and programmatic implications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client grievances, feedback, and follow-up with funders.
• Supervise direct reports and provide programmatic guidance.
• Create and oversee the monitoring schedule for site visits, TA visits, and desk audits.
• Present monthly summaries of monitoring activities and outcomes.
• Oversee affiliate PIPs and ensure grant compliance.
• Lead annual client feedback survey and summarize results with recommendations.
• Conduct remote and in-person technical assistance visits.
• Maintain knowledge of PIR, PC, and ORR program requirements.
• Represent Global Refuge in meetings with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
