Job summary

Global Refuge is seeking a Program Officer to ensure PIR compliance and provide technical support to the network. The role involves monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on program performance, as well as developing tools and delivering training to affiliates.

The candidate will write site visit reports, assist with funder reporting, and collaborate across departments. Travel up to 25% may be required as part of monitoring activities and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience serving refugees or immigrants.
• Experience with refugee programs (Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, or Preferred Communities) preferred.
• Strong writing skills; ability to produce reports and interpret technical requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate Global Refuge programs for compliance with ORR PIR requirements.
• Provide training and technical assistance to affiliates on programmatic areas and trends.
• Develop program monitoring tools and processes.
• Contribute to funder reporting and grant proposals as needed.
• Coordinate on-site and remote affiliate monitoring and site visits with stakeholders.
• Write site visit reports with recommendations and action plans for improvements.
• Implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as needed.
• Collaborate with departments and external partners to share resources and best practices.
• Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor.
