Job summary

Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM Houston) is seeking an administrator for the Refugee Cash Assistance program. You will oversee RCA operations, provide orientation to new clients, and ensure timely monthly check disbursements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Two-years experience in case management or with refugee/immigrant populations preferred.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as required by law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Refugee Cash Assistance program and ensure the program compliance and efficiency.
• Determine client’s eligibility for RCA program based on family size, employability and long-term goals for the family.
• Enroll eligible clients in RCA Program and entering client information in RS database and Client Track Database.
• Provide orientation to clients enrolled in RCA program regarding program benefits and requirements.
• Establish and maintain case notes and case files for clients enrolled in RCA program in compliance with all documentation, reporting and other guidelines established by STOR and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
• Prepare and submit reports and information upon request to different funders and donors.
• Refer clients to employment services and follow up on employment for RCA program.
• Complete assistance check request for RCA clients on monthly basis based on client compliance with employment program.
• Periodically review cases files with to ensure contract compliance and quality control per program guidelines.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
