Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM Houston) seeks an Employment Program Manager for Refugee Services in Houston, TX. You will lead employment initiatives, ensure data integrity in ClientTrack and Refugee Management System, and oversee staff training and reporting to meet federal and state requirements.

You will build relationships with local employers, coordinate job fairs, and advocate for refugees’ employment needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience in employment services.
• Strong data management and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in refugee languages preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the documentation process within IMGH electronic case files, ClientTrack and Refugee Management System.
• Ensure program compliance with state and federal guidelines and integrity of program implementation.
• Lead and mentor a team of employment counselors and coordinators.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance understanding of employment trends and best practices in refugee employment services.
• Develop and maintain a reporting calendar for all required reports and dates.
• Implement and manage comprehensive employment programs to empower refugees to secure gainful employment.
• Cultivate relationships with local employers to create employment opportunities for refugee clients.
• Advocate for refugees' employment needs to potential employers and highlight benefits of hiring refugees.
• Facilitate job fairs, networking events and employer workshops.
• Assist in grant writing and reporting to secure funding for employment programs.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and funding regulations.
• Maintain records of client progress, program activities, and employment outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports on program performance, including placement rates and demographics.
