Job summary

Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM Houston) is seeking an Employment Program Manager to lead refugee employment initiatives, ensuring meaningful, sustainable opportunities.

You will oversee data entry in ClientTrack and Refugee Management System, ensure compliance with guidelines, mentor a team, and drive reporting and partnerships with local employers to expand placement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• Experience in employment services or refugee programs is valued.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee documentation within IMGH electronic files and Refugee Management System.
• Ensure program compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of employment counselors and coordinators.
• Conduct training sessions on employment trends and best practices.
• Develop and maintain a reporting calendar with required reports and dates.
• Cultivate relationships with local employers to create opportunities for refugees.
