Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Reefer Technician to repair and maintain reefer units at the Martin Brower facility in McCook, IL. Full-Time shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00AM-3:30PM with pay between $36.00-$43.60 per hour based on skills.

Required: High School/GED with 3+ years related experience, valid driver's license and DOT-appropriate record, and your own tools. Preferred: Technical School certification. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, 401K, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

High School Education or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; regularly lift up to 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs.
Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record per DOT regulations.
Must possess own tools (minimum tool requirement).

Responsibilities

Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipment.
Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
Interpret complex schematics for refrigeration and air conditioning; identify warrantable repairs and document them.
Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and support preventative maintenance; verify dimensions and clearances per factory specs.
Use hand and power tools.
Other duties as assigned.
