Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Reefer Technician to repair and maintain refrigerated units at the Martin Brower facility in McCook, IL. This full-time role requires diagnostic skills, manual dexterity with hand and power tools, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. The position offers paid time off, performance-based raises, and opportunities for ASE and CDL incentives,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable DOT record to operate company vehicles.
• Preferred: Technical School certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipment.
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
• Interpret complex schematics for refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and document repairs.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and support preventative maintenance.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
