Reyes Fleet Management in McCook, IL, is seeking a Reefer Technician to diagnose, overhaul, and repair motor trucks and trailer refrigeration units at the Martin Brower facility.

This full-time role offers daytime hours Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, competitive pay $36.00–$43.60 per hour, paid time off, holiday pay, annual raises, benefits, and opportunities for ASE/CDL incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
• Technical School certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipment.
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
• Interpret complex schematics associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, identify warrantable repairs, and document them on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions and support preventative maintenance on tractor trailers.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
