Job summary

Hussmann seeks an experienced HVAC/R Technician to service commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets and convenience stores across the Dallas area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and support sales opportunities with technical knowledge.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, EPA 608 Certification, and 7 years field experience (5 years with a technical school certificate).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• 7 years field experience or 5 years with technical school certification for external candidates; 3 years for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers.
• Diagnose issues quickly and accurately and identify sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory, orders, parts, and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Complete paperwork and invoicing using handheld devices; ensure timely communications.
