Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair refrigeration systems in supermarkets and convenience stores. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs with guidance from a Master or Lead Technician.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-the-job training, excellent communication skills, and willingness to work nights or weekends are expected.

Qualificações

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and maintain a safe driving record.
• Physically able to walk, bench, crouch, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented and motivated.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic maintenance tasks.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning systems with supervision.
• Complete work tickets and time sheets; utilize handheld computer for paperwork.
• Maintain and manage truck inventory; adhere to vehicle maintenance program.
• Develop and maintain customer relations; articulate equipment malfunctions clearly.
• Understand basic electrical schematics and TEV troubleshooting.
• Handle R290 refrigerant and other hazardous materials safely.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
