Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores and cold storage facilities. You will operate independently, perform routine maintenance, and identify sales opportunities with customers.

Qualifications

• External candidates require 7 years field experience or 5 years with a technical school certification.
• Internal candidates require 3 years as Certified Technician plus OJT assessment.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification and valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems in retail settings.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision and develop first-line customer relations and sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory and handle parts, paperwork and invoicing with accuracy.
