Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring a skilled refrigeration technician to maintain, repair and install cold‑storage systems across our hospitality properties. You will perform preventative maintenance on walk‑ins, ice machines, and related equipment, and coordinate with outside contractors as needed.

We require a high school diploma, at least five years of refrigeration experience in hospitality, EPA certification, and proficiency with electrical test instruments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years refrigeration experience in hospitality or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical test instruments such as a multimeter.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Braze and solder copper pipe and fittings for repairs.
• Design and implement plans for new installations.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety rules.
• Maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with the team.
• Review work orders and priorities; support other Facilities areas when needed.

Responsibilities include:

· Maintain, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on all refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines and any other refrigeration related equipment.

· Braze and solder copper pipe and fittings to make repairs to refrigeration lines.

· Design and implement plans for new installations.

· Adhere to departmental quality standards.

· Follow all safety rules.

· Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.

· Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.

· Review assigned work orders and determines work priorities.

· Working as part of a team, you must be willing and able to help out in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
