Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Electrician for the Borger Refinery in Borger, TX. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of industrial electrical equipment and systems.

Candidates must meet required qualifications, pass an online assessment, and complete a pre-employment due diligence process including background checks and drug screening. Expect high voltage work and safety‑driven operations.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Currently hold (and maintain) valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and NFPA70E.
• Willing and able to work 8-12 hour shifts including weekends/nights; on-call; overtime.
• Climb up to 250 feet; lift up to 50 pounds; wear PPE incl. respirator.
• Read safety procedures, work permits and manuals; read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Maintain and install underground electrical distribution systems.
• Work on/near high voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and re-install electrical equipment.
• Test and commission new electrical systems.
• Operate equipment like cranes, forklifts, manlifts and bucket trucks.
• Read electrical drawings and enter/retrieve data.
