Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts including some weekends, nights and holidays.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call.
• Comfort working with chemicals and in enclosed spaces.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs on storage tanks.

Responsibilities

• Run chemical analyses on products in a quality control laboratory.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with plant engineers, operations and maintenance personnel.
• Enter and retrieve data from computer systems.
• Perform minor instrument maintenance.
• Follow Standard Laboratory Procedures (SLPs) and ASTM methods.
