Job summary

Phillips 66 Company in Borger, TX, is seeking a Pump and Engine Mechanic for the Borger Refinery. The role maintains rotating equipment, troubleshoots pumps, steam turbines, gear boxes, fans, blowers, mixers, engines, and compressors, and ensures installations meet industry standards.

Qualified candidates may come from diesel or aviation backgrounds and must complete an online assessment. The job requires 8–12 hour shifts, on-call responsibilities, overtime, and strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in the United States without restrictions.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver's license.
• Willing to work long shifts, on-call, overtime, and in confined spaces.
• Able to read safety procedures and operate process software.

Responsibilities

• Remove, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, turbines, gear boxes, fans, and compressors.
• Repair mechanical seals and install/adjust packing.
• Align equipment and use measurement tools or laser alignment.
• Enter and retrieve data, operate associated equipment, and perform general maintenance.
